source url https://dcinematools.com/t81kjsg Amicalola Falls at hight of  729 feet is the highest waterfall in Georgia; Located between Elijay and Dahlonega on State Road 52.  Trail parking begins at the reflection pool and includes 175 steps to the walkway over the base of the falls. Second, shorter trail starts at parking for base of falls which involves short easy walk.  There is also parking and viewing at top of the falls. From this vantage point take 425 stairs down to base of falls.  (remember… what goes down must come up) and  About those STAIRS….they ain’t easy!
